Albert and Ottillie Hood Endowed Scholarship

Criteria: Must be enrolled at UCF as a Full-time Undergraduate Student,

Be a US Citizen Undergraduate Cumulative GPA between 2.5 – 3.5,

Dana S. Zeiher Memorial Scholarship

Criteria: Enrolled as a full-time or part-time student at the undergraduate or graduate level, Must be majoring in Management in the College of Business Administration, Must be currently employed at UCF as a USPS or A&P staff member, be eligible for tuition waiver and be enrolled during the semester in which the award is made, Must be a degree-seeking student at UCF and enrolled as either full-time or part-time at the undergraduate or graduate level. Applicants must have a Minimum overall 3.0 overall GPA, must write an essay describing why you chose the degree you are seeking and how this degree will be career enhancing, must reapply to be eligible for the award in successive semesters.

Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Scholarship

Criteria: Must be an Undergraduate student enrolled at the University of Central Florida. Preference will be given to qualifying students who identify themselves as having participated in the “Play It Smart” program, for as long as the program exists, and who have graduated from Atlanta (Georgia) Public Schools.

If no one qualifies for the first preference, a second preference will be given to qualifying students who have graduated from Atlanta (Georgia) Public Schools. If no student meets the first two preferences, a third preference will be given to students who graduated from any public school in the Metropolitan Atlanta (Georgia) area, including Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry and Rockdale counties.

The criteria for awarding the scholarship will be consistent with the policies and guidelines established by the University Office of Student Financial Assistance.

Dixon School of Accounting Young Alumni Scholarship Fund

Criteria: Applicant must be enrolled at the University as a full-time graduate student in the College of Business Administration in the Kenneth G.Dixon School of Accounting. Applicant must be majoring in accounting. Applicant has demonstrated academic merit and financial need as determined by University guidelines established by the University Office of Student Financial Assistance.

The criteria for awarding the scholarship will be consistent with the guidelines established by the University Office of Student Financial Assistance. Preference will be given to Beta Alpha Psi members.

EMBA Class of 2009 Scholarship

This is arguably one of the best University of Central Florida scholarships available for international students.

Criteria: Must be enrolled in the Executive MBA (EMBA) program. Overall minimum GPA of 3.0 Must have obtained undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of professional work experience.

Must submit a response to the following question: Why did you decide to pursue an EMBA and how do you think your degree will advance your career?

Preference will be given to students who are self-funding their EMBA degree.

Criteria: Enrolled as a graduate student in UCF College of Business Administration Executive MBA program.  Selected based on desire for learning and passion -A 500-word essay must be completed describing desire for learning and passion characteristics. Financial need will be taken into consideration. This scholarship will be awarded based upon the successful completion of the first semester of the EMBA program

Jermaine A. Jones Perseverance Scholarship Fund

Criteria: Applicant must be enrolled at the University as a full-time graduate student in the DeVos Sport Business Management program. Applicant must maintain an overall minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicant will be required to submit a 1-2-page essay detailing obstacles he/she has overcome; with examples of how they have persevered to become a graduate student within the Sport Business Management program.

Preference will be given to non-traditional students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). BE2000 Leadership Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established from a generous gift given by the Estate of Helen E. Davis, this scholarship provides support to undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Business Administration. This scholarship is for both Graduates and Undergraduates;

This scholarship may be awarded to the same student in successive semesters (up to a maximum of 8 semesters for freshman and 4 semesters for juniors or until graduation, whichever comes first), provided that the recipients fulfills the criteria above (exclusive of class standing).

Criteria for Undergraduate students:

  • Must be enrolled full-time
  • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, or be a Florida Community College transfer student with junior class standing.

Graduate

This scholarship may be awarded to the same graduate student in successive semesters (up to 4 semesters) until graduation provided that the recipient maintains the criteria above (exclusive of class standing)

Criteria for Graduate students:

  • Must be enrolled full-time, be a First-year student in the College of Business Administration,
  • Must have a minimum 3.3 GPA. Students will be required to demonstrate involvement in leadership and community service to be eligible.

Soldmann Marsh Empowerment Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants must be enrolled at the University of Central Florida as a student in the College of Business Administration. Preference will be given to single parents and the primary caregiver for their child(ren) and students who are working towards their first higher-education degree.

If there are no applicants meeting this preference, awards can be given to students working towards an additional higher-education degree. Students must complete the appropriate University requirements each year to demonstrate their eligibility for financial aid.

UCF Rugby Endowed Scholarship

The UCF Rugby Scholarship is intended for rugby players (with previous experience) who plan to play for either UCF’s men’s or women’s rugby team in the upcoming academic year. Recipients must be eligible to play for UCF in the National Collegiate competition, as defined by USA Rugby.

Criteria: Must have previous rugby experience. Must be a full-time undergraduate student, attending UCF, working on their first undergraduate degree. Recipient must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and become an active member of the club. Must have at least one year of eligibility remaining. (Maximum eligibility is defined as within 5 years of college and within 7 years of high school graduation). Applicant preference will be given to students with a recommendation from the UCF Alumni Rugby Club. Exceptions and Waivers may be available through USA Rugby.
